MUNCH is for everyone — and that means making sure everyone can enjoy our events and access our content in a way that works for them.

We’re committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment for all of our attendees, both in-person and online. Whether you're attending one of our club nights, community events or following us on socials, we want you to feel comfortable, empowered, and supported.

🏠 Event Accessibility

We aim to make MUNCH events as accessible as possible, but each venue has its own limits. Here's what we're doing to support accessibility:

  • Venue Accessibility: We select venues that offer basic accessibility features, including ramps and accessible bathrooms, where possible. Check the specific event page for any venue-specific details.
  • Seating: We’ll ensure there’s accessible seating at our events. If you have any specific seating requirements, please email us in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
  • Sign Language Interpretation: If requested in advance, we will try to provide sign language interpreters for events. Please get in touch with us at muncheventsco@gmail.com at least 7 days before the event.
  • Strobe Lights & Visuals: Some Club events may feature strobe lighting and heavy visual effects. We’ll post these warnings on the event page, but please feel free to contact us if you need more information or accommodations.
  • Emotional Support: If you need any specific support or accommodations during the event, we’re here to help. Just reach out, and we’ll do our best to make sure you feel comfortable.

We strive to ensure our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Some of our key accessibility features include:

  • Text Size & Contrast: We aim to provide clear, readable text. You can adjust text size through your browser settings if needed.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Our website is navigable using keyboard shortcuts. If you're having trouble navigating, please let us know.
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: We use alt text for images and strive to make our site compatible with screen readers.
